Care for Dogs is a foundation that helps care for stray dogs by helping them find their forever home. They help over 300 cats and dogs per year find a new, loving owner. The foundation holds public meetings and spreads useful and accurate information regarding solving the problems of stray animals to locals and tourists.

The Care for Dog foundation is located in the Hang Dong district, which is in the southern part of the Chiang Mai province. It is only about 15 kilometres away from the Chiang Mai airport. The area is very prosperous in its business, tourism, and tradition. However, the area has difficulty dealing with stray animals. For example, animals are often abandoned at places like temples, and oftentimes, these animals suffer from an abundance of health issues. The number of abandoned animals continues to increase in numbers as the issue has not been met with the proper solution.
