The heart of the Bangkhut Temple is the heart of this small town with a small community school nearby. The people graciously welcome visitors with traditional Thai friendliness and hospitality.

The way of life of salt farmers, fish farmers is very unique. Seasons and climate are important to their living. Fresh seafood everywhere in the area. Unique scenery that is not similar to other coastal towns. Visits of endangered spoon-billed sandpipers from China attract many bird-watchers during migration season.
